Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Preparation
Please bring along all of your previous x-ray and MRI films for comparison.

Appointment is necessary and can be made by calling the location where the service is available.

What to eat?
No special preparation is needed before the examination. Do eat and drink as usual. If sedation has been scheduled as part of your examination, you will be informed about what you can or cannot take.

Children
Sedation would probably be necessary. Please call the clinic for specific instructions.

Do not apply make-up
Do not apply any substance to your hair such as hair spray or mousse and do not use make-up as these may alter the images.

Questionnaire
A full medical history of the patient is required to ensure MRI safety issues are complied.

The patient will be asked to answer the following questionnaire.
